Celebrating Valentine’s Day with Canadian Tech Founders

In case you missed the crowds dressed in pink on your way to work and “forgot to notice” the hearts and chocolates around the office: it’s Valentine’s Day!

In the startup world, we often have our heads down as we keep our noses to the grindstone, but sometimes it’s a good idea to look up and smell the roses. The Canadian tech community has come a long way in the last decade—CB Insights reports that approximately US$1.7 Billion was raised for 266 Canadian companies last year.

This success is the result of tireless effort from a variety of key people and initiatives put into place by government, entrepreneurs and venture financing. The team at Brightspark Ventures wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible network of entrepreneurs and advisors who share in this accomplishment. After all, venture financing goes far beyond just capital; it’s a meaningful partnership between all parties involved, from investor to founder to end-user.

You can download all of these Valentine’s Day cards and learn more about these tech founders on Brightspark’s website.
