“Having the opportunity to work in such a beautiful and collaborative working environment is very rare for an early stage start-up like us,” says Jeremy Bell, Co-Founder and CEO of Wattage Inc., “That, and the support of the Cossette team, will definitely help us build a better product.” Bell was also a partner at the interactive design agency, Teehan+Lax, for six years before utilizing his expertise and experience to create Wattage Inc.
“The opportunity to work, learn and grow with Cossette was something that we simply couldn’t pass up,” says Frank Falcone, Founder and CEO at TriggerFox, “We see Cossette Lab as being a great fit in terms of helping us refine and improve our user experience, branding and go-to market strategy.”
TriggerFox and Wattage were chosen out of 10 Toronto-based startups who were shortlisted to pitch their projects to the Cossette office. “The startups are already engaged with the agency and collaborating with us,” says Joe Dee, Lead of Cossette Lab and Cossette VP Product and Technology Strategy, “We are exposed to creative opportunities we haven’t had before and are already seeing the benefits of interacting with them.”
The startups have moved into Cossette’s office space and will stay for a period of six to 12 months. They will use this time to establish a relationship with Cossette employees, search for cross-market opportunities and leverage real-life opportunities through Cossette clients.
