Halifax May be Getting an Apple Store [RUMOUR]

Halifax Apple StoreAccording to The Coast and AllNovaScotia, Halifax may just be getting it’s own Apple Store.  Although there are many locations that consumers can buy Apple products in Halifax and the surrounding area, an Apple Store would be a major boon for the atlantic provinces.  In fact, the nearest Apple Store is in Maine.

In an interview with the Halifax Shopping Centre’s Marketing Director, the Chronicle Herald was able to ascertain that the new 7000 sq. ft. store is expected to launch in the Fall of 2012, and that the store will most likely require the removal of one of the Shopping Centre’s escalators.  This fact alone has people buzzing, as Apple is exactly the type of company that can make demands of such scale.
