Instagram Adds Carousel Feature, Allowing Multiple Photos Per Post
Instagram announced today that it is now allowing users to share multiple photos and videos in one post.
“With this update, you no longer have to choose the single best photo or video from an experience you want to remember,” the company says. “Now, you can combine up to 10 photos and videos in one post and swipe through to see them all.”
Instagram says you can apply a filter to all content at once, or edit each individual item. However, the whole post is limited to a single caption, and the carousel feature offers handles square media.
As a viewer, you’ll see blue dots at the bottom of carousel posts to let you know you can swipe to see more.
