Montréal’s George Favvas heads to Valley to start Rewardli with funding from 500 Startups, Real Ventures

Dave McClure’s 500 Startups accelerator has officially announced the companies participating in its first batch. Montréal entrepreneur George Favvas (founder of SmartHippo) is heading down to Silicon Valley with his brand new company Rewardli.

What exactly Rewardli is remains to be seen, but it’s supposedly in the up-and-coming “social commerce” space. George has a cofounder as well, NextMontreal reports, but his name is still under wraps. Oh, the mystique!

Additionally, Real Ventures is matching any investment made in Rewardli by 500.
