GenerUS Marketing Solutions has launched Coupons4Giving, a fundraising tool that allows not-for-profits to create and manage successful fundraising campaigns in order to drive greater donor engagement.
Coupons4Giving is fundraising tool that connects charities, not-for-profit organizations and community groups with local business and supporters. Coupons4Giving helps these organizations engage and expand their donor base by offering deals from local restaurants, retailers and online merchants. Customers can purchase coupons and offers from local businesses and at the same time support organizations they care about while businesses can harness the power of supporting local organizations while seeing increased foot traffic to their establishments, according to the Edmonton-based startup.
“We believe the value of Coupons4Giving is to help not-for-profits use the power of social media to engage and expand their donor base,” says Michelle Sklar, Chief Marketing Officer. “Our philosophy is to help organizations better use technology to drive fundraising efforts in a simple and effective manner.”
The Coupons4Giving website is currently in beta and a select group of not-for-profits and merchants have been invited to test out the service.
“I am thrilled to be working with such an ambitious team and we are incredibly proud to kick-off Coupons4Giving,” says CEO Randy Thompson. “We are excited to watch the site grow, and to gather important customer feedback from the participating top tier merchants and not-for-profits.”
“Early on we proved out GenerUS, and as a board member, I am very much looking forward to the future for Coupons4Giving and the new team leading the charge,” added Peter Rachmistruk, founder and continuing Director of GenerUS.
