Spudaroo.com hopes to crowdsource business plans and more

Web startup Spudaroo.com announced the launch of their crowdsourcing platform yesterday and want to connect time-strapped entrepreneurs needing professional business material and content with a community of talented experts.

While the site just came out of beta earlier this week, they’re ready to crowdsource pretty much anything including Powerpoint presentations, web content, business plans, press releases, and basic legal documents.

“Spudaroo.com presents a great alternative to websites such as Elance, oDesk and PeoplePerHour.com,” says Founder, Kate Hiscox.  “Unlike websites that encourage users to choose an expert based on a proposal, Spudaroo.com requires experts to submit completed material in a read-only format. The user rates the experts submission, requests the changes they would like to see and the process continues until the user is satisfied.”

Spudaroo.com compares themselves to sites like design centric 99Designs.com and Vancouver’s own Adhack.com but they believe they are the first site to utilize crowdsourcing for business documents and content.

Spudaroo.com was co-founded by TinyMassive‘s Kate Hiscox and Nicola Cadwell and call Vancouver and Las Vegas home.
