Telus Gives Customer Surprise of Her Life with Coffee, Flowers, and an Airplane
Telus recently surprised a longstanding customer in a myriad of big ways.
Visting the Guelph home of Ramona, who has been a customer of Telus for two decades, the telecommunications company took her for a ride that ended with her flying in an airshow plane—her lifelong dream—that had her name decalled on it. Check out this and other surprises for Ramona—including one involving more than 40,000 flowers—in the video below.
“Telus truly cares about the communities where we live, work and play,” the company says. “Putting customers first is our top priority and part of that is listening to their feedback and thanking them for their loyalty.”
A Telus-branded “Care-a-Van” team will be rolling through Guelph this week with a host of events and activities, including a free BBQ lunch. The Vancouver-based telco is also donating $5 to the Guelph Children’s Foundation for every use of the #actsofcaring hashtag on Twitter.
