An Ottawa-based startup wants to change the way people get divorces.
Nearly three-quarters of those who get divorced self-represent, and Canadian company Miralaw wants to help them.
Using artifical intelligence, clients are guided through the entire process through Miralaw’s app, Thistoo.
Founded by Samuel Witherspoon, the legaltech startup offers a free version as well as paid version with more features, including document extraction and identification, date calendaring, and agreement monitoring.
The app has attracted the interest of Toronto-based legaltech ambassador Aron Solomon, who dubbed it a company to watch this year.
