Two Canadians Named to Influential Gaming Industry List
Gaming Insiders is an elite community of leaders in the games industry brought together for exchanging ideas and discussing business challenges in a private setting.
The goal of the Gaming Insiders 30 (GI30) is to identify the people who, in the eyes of the gaming community, will have the greatest creative, technical or financial impact on the games industry during the next twelve months.
Earlier this week two Vancouverites were nominated for the GI30 list: A Thinking Ape’s Kenshi Arasaki and Eastside Games’ Jason Bailey.
An impressive feat but it shouldn’t be surprising for those familiar with Vancouver’s gaming community.
A Thinking Ape is a “small yet driven team” that is dedicated to building strong mobile communities with a collaborative approach to product design. A Thinking Ape most popular title to date is Kingdoms At War.
Eastside Games is a “proudly independent and profitable” game studio that creates humorous and addicting games for mobile and social platforms including award winning Pot Farm and Dragon Up.
