Vancouver’s Hottest Tech Companies Pitch for Talent at Biggest Tech Fest Yet

Vancouver tech companies are looking for talent.

On May 14, Techvibes hosted its latest and greatest Tech Fest, a unique networking event that brings Vancouver companies and talent together, where a representative for each hiring company takes the stage to pitch the talent on why the company is their best choice to work for. Nearly 900 people attended the event at which 17 companies were seeking to fill several hundreds of positions in total.

Prior to the pitches, Rob Lewis, Editor-in-Chief of Techvibes, delivered an introduction, and Ian McKay, CEO of Vancouver Economic Commission introduced the winners of the Win a Trip to Vancouver contest and a video highlighting the tech boom in Vancouver.

Tech Fest in Waterloo will be held on May 21, with more cities to come in the fall.
