Amazon Expands Prime Video to Rest of World

Amazon today announced that Amazon Prime Video is now available to customers in more than 200 countries and territories around the globe.

Customers without Prime can sign up for a free or discounted trial, while countries with Prime, including Canada, can watch Prime Video at no additional cost.

“We are excited to announce that starting today, fans around the world have access to Prime Video,” said Tim Leslie, Vice President, International, Prime Video. “And what’s really exciting is that we are just getting started.”

Prime Video is a component of Amazon Prime, a annual subscription premium service that includes unlimited free two-day shipping. Amazon has plans to offer Prime separately in the future.
