Some Marketers decide to do freelance or contract jobs for clients on the side. These rates will vary depending on the scope of the project, your experience, and general salary expectations. If you’re a new freelancer, hourly rates usually range between $15 - $50/hour, again depending on how advanced the project is and how much experience you have under your belt. For more advanced freelance work, you can charge upwards from $120/hour.

If you’re taking on long-term projects in social media management, monthly fees can range between $400 to $5000 or even higher depending on how established your agency is, how big the client is, and how big of a campaign they’re looking to accomplish.
