Creators of London:Building Unplugged in a Hyperconnected World
Before founding Unplugged, Hector Hughes experienced firsthand how always-on technology can blur boundaries between work, rest, and mental health. In this session, he shares the personal moments that sparked Unplugged, and how those experiences shaped a product and philosophy built around disconnection by design.
Hector walks through how Unplugged evolved from an idea into a growing movement, exploring what it takes to build a purpose-led company in a tech-saturated world. Attendees will hear lessons on resilience, values-driven leadership, and how creating space offline can unlock clarity, creativity, and better work online.
