Ethelia Lung is a designer, thinker, and problem-solver focused on making digital creativity more intuitive and accessible. At YouTube, she played a key role in the launch of YouTube Create, the company’s first standalone app in over seven years, designed to help creators edit and publish videos from their phones with ease. Her work centers on interaction design, accessibility, and crafting user experiences with real human impact.

YouTube Create was built with one mission: to give creators tools that help them do their best work. Ethelia shares how the team designed around real creator workflows, prioritizing flexibility, simplicity, and speed in every interaction.
