Speakers

Erica Salvatore is the eCommerce Merchandising and Customization Manager at adidas Canada for the adidas and Reebok brands.  She works closely with the buying and marketing teams to optimize the online assortment, enhance the digital visual merchandising and category experience, and strategically launch new product in the Canadian market.  Erica's passion for sport and fashion drives her to create a best-in-class online shopping experience for adidas.ca and reebok.ca, and is proud to be part of the world's best sport and fitness brands. Outside of work Erica loves playing soccer, cooking, and travelling.

Methodical in developing expansive multi-channel marketing strategies, Lauren Steinberg leads growth and demand generation for some of the largest e-commerce businesses in Canada including JoeFresh.com, BeautyBoutique.ca, Digital Pharmacy and Click&Collect for Loblaws, Zehrs and Real Canadian Superstore.

She has proven success in delivering measurable marketing results and is a driver of profitable growth, focusing on customer-based metrics and data driven acquisition and retention strategies. She pairs a thirst for technology with an entrepreneurial spirit, and works alongside product and technology teams in her current role to bring to life innovative, digital products and services and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

In her spare time, Lauren serves as a mentor for Ladies Learning Code, volunteers as a startup advisor for The Joe Fresh Innovation Centre at the DMZ and documents her cat’s every move in her Instagram stories. She’s passionate about diversity in Technology and works diligently to bring more women and LGBTQ into the space, both by leveraging her network in Canada and more close to home, at Loblaw Digital. 

Casandra Campbell is an entrepreneur and Content Marketing Lead at Shopify, a Canadian ecommerce company empowering over 400,000 merchants to sell anything, to anyone, anywhere. She specializes in growing web businesses from the ground up and uses her own web projects as a testing ground for new tactics and strategies. Through her work creating educational content at Shopify, she helps entrepreneurs build sustainable companies worldwide. When she's not on her laptop, you can find Casandra running her brewing business, Liberty Village Brewing Company.

Gautam Kalita heads Commercial Growth and Strategy for the PayPal Canada Business Unit. He leads a portfolio of key strategic initiatives, including “at-scale” eco-system partnerships with intent of driving exponential growth for payments and eCommerce in Canada. His expertise includes cross-border trade, P2P/ remittances and alternative lending.
