Marketing Mornings LDN:Building a Cult Brand with Grind
Join us for a conversation with Frankie Cooke, Brand Marketing Lead at Grind, the cult coffee brand born in Shoreditch. Frankie will share how Grind evolved from a single café into a lifestyle brand with a global following and how campaigns and collaborations have been key ingredients in shaping its identity.
From building 360° campaigns to crafting unique collaborations that customers connect with, Grind has redefined what it means to be more than just a coffee company. In this session, Frankie Cooke unpacks the strategies behind Grind’s evolution, from product to partnerships, exploring how authentic storytelling, community, and brand attitude can transform a daily ritual into a movement.
Frankie Cooke
Brand Marketing Lead
Frankie Cooke is the Brand Marketing Lead for cult coffee company Grind. Having previously worked in PR, she joined Grind back in 2019 to manage local marketing campaigns for their cafés and coffee shops. When those cafés had to close during lockdown in 2020, Frankie pivoted to CRM Manager and helped take the brand online, beginning what is now a thriving DTC business.
These days, Frankie works across all of Grind’s campaigns, partnerships, brand activations, new product launches, and PR. She’s been an integral part of Grind’s growth from a London highstreet business to an international coffee company, going from local flyposting to managing massive collaborations with the likes of Hello Kitty and American rock band Green Day.
