Looking to level up your skills by learning to code? Experience learning Web Development at BrainStation is all about. Our part-time Web Development course is an effective medium for achieving your digital goals because it is led by an industry expert, it’s hands-on, and you’re accountable to your Educator and peers. If Web Development is something you’re curious to dive deeper into, this 90 minute session is an excellent precursor to the part-time course and offers a great taste of the BrainStation learning experience.
Web Development for Beginners will provide you with the basic understanding of Web Development, focusing on how programming languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript come together to create websites. We’ll discuss the various components that make up a web page, including hands-on practice manipulating the code of current websites. We’ll also talk about why learning to code isn’t restricted to developers, and how it’s a useful and relevant skill across diverse industries.
We’ll end the session with an exercise allowing you to alter elements on existing websites using your newfound HTML and CSS knowledge. Please bring a computer!
